Farewell

My dorky, funny, crazy 18 year old little brother just left for the air force. What!?! I can't even believe it myself. Mom, Scottie, and Nick drove up from Vegas so we could throw Nick a going away party. He opened gifts....
We enjoyed being all together (it doesn't happen very often).
And me, my mom, and my sisters all showed off our fake pregnant stomachs (except mines not fake). It's a little bit scary that theirs looks more real than mine.
Then we all got together and took some sibling pictures. Honestly I can't remember the last time we were all together to do family pictures. I think it was at least 10 years ago. Kudos to Darin for taking the great pictures.

I'm proud of Nick for making this decision, but I'm also a little sad. Obviously because it's scary, but also just because I can't believe we're all grown up now. My other 2 sisters have kids, I'm pregnant, and now Nicks leaving for the Air Force. It's scary how fast life passes you by.

I was also amazed at how much more patriotic I feel just because he went out. We went to the Riverton Rodeo on Friday, and I honestly got a little teary eyed when they were doing the National Anthem. I mean little brother is serving in the military now. I'm so grateful for all those that risk their lives every day for our freedom. We love you so much Nick and wish you the best!
I just had to throw this one in, because I like it. It made me feel like we were getting our engagement pictures taken all over again.
