My 2 day quilt

I've had a lot of fun this year making a lot of my Christmas presents for others. I bought this fabric on a whim and decided to make a quilt for my Dad.

I had a few mishaps along the way. But what quilt would be complete without having to pick out a few seams?

Now I just need to figure out how to quilt the top and then I'll have one less Christmas present to worry about when I'm getting to know my little gal.

There's something satisfying about handcrafting a gift for someone you love rather than just buying another gift card. Are you making gifts for anyone? I'd love to hear the projects other people have going on.

I've been trying to come up with homemade gifts more often. It's definitely satisfactory when you finish them, especially knowing they won't receive a duplicate! I'm making my niece a feltboard for her birthday and last year I made her brother file folder games for his. I have a whole word document with ideas to do at some point, but until my office/craft room gets gets clean, none of them will happen! The quilt looks great.

And you think your not talented, please! That quilt looks great! I was so happy to give you your quilt for Christmas several years ago! I sure hope diesel enjoys it ;) You really do need to teach me everything you know about sewing!
