I have honestly doubled in size in the last week. It's ridiculous. Can I just complain for a few minutes?
- I miss wearing normal clothes. I have piles and piles of clothes in the closet and all I wear is the same two pair of maternity jeans and sweats.
- I miss when my back didn't hurt. Constantly.
- I miss being able to see all my "parts". If you've been pregnant you know what I mean. I seriously have no idea what's going on below my belt.
- I miss when I didn't have carpal tunnel in my wrists. This is a new fun part of my pregnancy. Shooting sharp pains that wake me up in the middle of the night and make me cry.
- I miss when I didn't pass gas more than a high school football team.
- I miss when I could flex my toes in the morning and not have the most INTENSE charlie horses rip through my calves like Satan on wheels.
- I miss when the number on the scale was 20 pounds lighter.
I'm sorry for the rampage.
Actually, I'm not sorry. I don't come on my blog and talk about myself too often, so I think I'm entitled to a little gripe session for one minute. I know my pregnancy hasn't been the worst, in fact, it's been pretty smooth sailing. I'm just getting to that point where I'm miserable all the time. Sometimes all I want to do is cry. And sometimes I do just that.
And that's ok.
I'm sure she'll be worth it.

It will be worth it, I promise. In fact, you'll even forget just how miserable you were. I am terribly impressed that your scale is only 20 pounds higher than normal. That's amazing. Good luck. This last month is hard but at the end of it, you get a baby!
When you think that you want to cry, turn your thoughts to that horrible sister-in-law of yours that will be going through all of these same things 8 weeks after you and then laugh your butt off!!
Just stumbled across your blog! Hope you don't mind. I can't believe how adorable you look with that belly. I think it gives you the right to rant a little. You guys will be the best parents! Best of luck!! :) Miss you both.
