Nora turned three months on Saturday. I can't believe my little peanut is three months already. She's finally outgrown most of her newborn clothes. It all fits in the body but is too short in the arms and legs. She's such a tall little skinny thing. It makes me sad to bag those clothes up and put them away. It's just the first indicator that she's growing up. I'm just lucky she was tiny for so long.
Sleep isn't going great. She likes to wake up every few hours. And instead of waiting for her to cry, I just take her out because I know she's not going to go back to sleep. And I'm not going to go back to sleep until she's sleeping. I'm sure I'm making it worse. A part of me wants to move her into her room, because I'm thinking I'd disturb her less and vice versa, but I hate that idea too. Every time I mention it to Darin, he says, "Maybe this weekend" I think he's been saying that for the last 3 weekends. Man, he loves that little girl. Those of you that had your little one in your room with you, when did you finally make the move? One side of me wants to start developing good habits now, the other part of me could care less about habits. I hate to move her across the house, but a woman's got to get some sleep! There have been some nights where she's gone 6 1/2 hours, but I swear it's like the good nights make the bad nights that much harder.
She found her hands the last couple weeks. We love watching her discover new things. She looks like a little chipmunk eating an acorn.
Sometimes they taste good.
Sometimes, apparently, not so much.
She's growing and she's learning, but she's still just our little peanut.

She is precious. I wish I could see her in person. Those eyes...Wow. The only advice I can give about moving her to her own room would be do it when it feels right to you. You'll know.
She is too precious! I didn't move Beckam out til he was around 7 months old. At 5 months I started putting him down in his room but I always brought him back in to our room by around midnight! It's not going to hurt her and if you want her there, then leave her there! Better to have a closer eye on her anyway! (I have more excuses if you want them, I came up with quite a few!!!)
She is so cute, Jess! And you take such a great pictures! I'm glad to hear things are going a bit better for you guys! I really, really love my sleep so I can only imagine how hard that will be to give up:( But I'm sure it's all more than worth it:)
I was the exact same it took me awhile I was to nervous for her to be alone. But it was around 5 months for me. Try it for one night and if you hate then you can always bring her back in.
Oh, she is getting a little bit bigger, but not much. I love her and I miss her. Come see us when she can stand the car ride. I miss you too. I agree with what your friend, try it for one night and see how it goes. I know across the house must seem so far, but I promise you will hear her if she NEEDS you. Good luck, you're a great mom! And friend!
She is so cute Jess, and so itty bitty! Great pics too! Well my advice is do what is best for you and her, but if you want some sleep too I would try moving her into her room. I moved Easton into his room when he was three months, I think, and we were lucky he slept almost all through the night after that. I hope it goes well.
Oh she is so sweet! I wish I could give you some advice on moving Nora to her room or not but I'm sure you'll do what's best :) She is just adorable! I love her sweet little face. She looks so tiny in the picture where she's sitting on the couch...just precious!
We didn't move Mollee out of our room until she was 4 1/2 months. Even then, we didn't get any more sleep because I sleep even lighter wondering if every sound that I heard in the house was her. Now, she wakes up more than Logan at night. Go figure. Logan and I have developed bad habits too. I pull him into bed at 7 am when Jon leaves for work and we sleep in! Oh well.
